Iowa Games July 16th

Bruce,
I meant to get this reminder to you early in the month, but we have had lots of trainings and workshops. We will be hosting a Finals Competition in Ames for the winners of the Fish Iowa! games school competition the afternoon of July 16, 2010. We invite you and your club to help us again this year with the competition and the fun casting demonstration that evening.

Here’s the tentative schedule:


12:00 p.m. – set up
1:00 p.m. - 2:30 free practice & check in (participants)
2:45 p.m. - participant meeting (rules, procedure)
3:00 p.m. - competition starts
5:00 pm- 7:30 pm – Finals Fest (fun, casting demonstration)

Shannon is with the Iowa Games and has asked our club to help again this year with the finals competition and demonstration. For any of the club members that want to ride with me as I will be pulling the trailer contact me, I can take 3 passengers. If you cant make it at set up the big rush is around 5:00 so that would still help alot if you can be there then.Please let me know if you are coming so I how many to tell Shannon for tickets.Its a great time and the kids really love it.

Thank you to Larry L Rock M and Brian A for helping at the Iowa Games. This year we had 54 contestants in the finals. Barb has her program in over 100 schools and still growing.
